There are several ways to add Stremio addons to Vidi.

Not all Stremio addons will work with Vidi. See Stremio Addons.

The easiest way to add an addon is to open a deeplink. An Add Addon deeplink will start with vidi:// and end with /manifest.json. In other words it’s just the manifest URL with the scheme replaced with vidi:// insteda of https://. Stremio addon install links will also work, i.e. if the link instead starts with stremio://.

Pressing this deeplink will prompt you with Open in Vidi?. Pressing Open will open Vidi and, if it validates, install the addon.

Add Addon Using Manifest URL

To add an addon using the manifest URL go to:

SettingsManage AddonsAdd Addon

Enter the manifest URL. If it resolves you should see an Add button. If it can be configured you will also see a Configure button. If it requires configuration you will only see the Configure button.

Configuration is only supported on iOS/iPadOS. To install a configured addon on tvOS you need to configure it on another device, then get the configured manifest URL and add that instead.

Sync Addon Over iCloud

If you have added an addon on one device it will sync to your other devices if you are logged into the same iCloud account and do not disable iCloud access to Vidi. This will happen automatically and is especially convenient for adding addons on an iPhone or iPad and have them sync to your Apple TV.
